Hansen School District 415

Hansen School District 415

Home of the Huskies Working collaboratively with all stakeholders, we will develop the skills and qualities necessary to create lifelong learners and productive citizens.

Welcome to the Hansen School District. We are a small rural school district located in South Central Idaho. We currently serve nearly 400 students in our community. The district is comprised of three schools, our preschool which serves students ages three and older, our elementary school which consists of grades kindergarten through sixth, and our combined junior high/high school which includes students in grades seven through twelve.

The district earned four star ratings on both of our accredited schools for the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 school years. We strive to see that all our students are learning each day while engaged in a positive school system where individual strengths are recognized and celebrated. The district is governed by a five member Board of Trustees, whose members are elected by the public and serve without pay. The administration, faculty, staff, and governing board have a strong commitment to provide our students with an excellent education. Thank you for choosing Hansen School District, it is a great place to be!

Welcome to the Hansen School District, home of the Huskies. It is truly a pleasure to welcome you to another school year with many exciting changes and challenges ahead. I am thrilled to be continuing in the educational community of Hansen for another great year. As a partner in your child's education, I have a deep commitment to ensuring all students at Hansen School District are challenged and engaged in effective instruction. I look forward to working with parents, students, faculty, and staff to foster an environment that promotes a nurturing, disciplined, and challenging atmosphere. Serving as superintendent of schools is a great honor as it is a responsibility. Together, I believe we will prepare students for success far beyond their high school years as they become productive members of society. The future accomplishments of Hansen School District will rely on our combined efforts and the strength of our collaboration as a learning community. I am looking forward to the great year we have ahead, and to meeting and working with each of you. We are fortunate to have a community that strongly supports our schools, and highly qualified teachers who take great care in educating our children.
